RESEARCH

For this project, I work with another Level Designer and helping each other to improve levels, I was more in charge of the theorical aspect and him, more on the blockout (practical aspect)

We work like this because we focus more on the quality than the quantity.

So, we decided to work together even if one can't do what another does, or vice-versa.

PROJECT CONTEXT

MY RESPONSABILITIES

As a miniature character, the player feels infiltrated but vulnerable.

So, to improve this feeling we created some narrow spaces.

OPPRESIVE

The everyday objects used by the inhabitants of this world can be used in a different way by the tiny characters.

INTERACT WITH THE ENVIRONMENT

The characters evolve in a gigantic world where he has to pay attention to everything around him.

GIGANTIC WORLD

The level design goal was to create a linear level where the player has to infiltrate, find his friends and, above all, survive

Having two playable characters was a challenge for us, as the levels had to be designed so that the player could use the other character to advance.

TWO PLAYABLE CHARACTER

The character can use and interact with the environment, and everyday objects are placed in logical positions to create diversions or dodge enemies.

PLAY WITH THE ENVIRONEMENT

This school project was a challenge, to create a level using abilities of two characters.

Although I wasn't able to create my own blockout, I was still able to actively participate in its creation.

Through skecths, layout, inspiration and by talking with the builder, this helped the level builder to create the levels.

In conclusion, this project has enabled me to develop my creative and thinking skills, as well as producing documentation that is understandable and accessible to everyone.
